I had tons of great responses to my last MM casting. Miss Bodhi was my final choice. She had a look I hadn’t shot before and I love Latinas as a general rule of thumb. Add in a pinch of Indian and Scottish… and you have the fireplug named Miss Bohdi.
Now we were going to meet in front of the Roxy on the Sunset Strip at 10:30am. So, there I was- perfectly early as usual and made my way to the side lot of the Roxy. Well, who do I see chatting up a woman…but David Lee Roth. That’s f’in’ cool as sh*t. There was a bunch of “suits” hovering in front of the Roxy entrance, so something was clearly going down inside. 10:40…10:45 hmmm, odd she’s not texting me she’s running late. I start to feel like a tool, looking like i’m stalking D.L.R like some obsessed male groupie. 10:50, 10:55…damn. It’s clear she’s not gonna show. I leave at 11:00 sharp.
Now, at this point I think…well, i’m in Hollywood already and my instinct tells me not to head back to the Valley but to go have a small bite at the URTH CAFE on Melrose. As, i’m accutely in tune with my instinct, I head on over and venture inside to find a great, great table inside (ain’t no easy feat!!)
Sure enough, while seated I get a text at 11:30am from Miss Bodhi, profusely apologizing for sleeping through her alarm. So, my instinct was correct to stay in Hollywood. Plus, Miss Bohdi is sexy, and I didn’t want to lose this chance at unveiling my two new designs. So, 12:30pm it was- on Melrose.
Some models you have an instant rapport with. Miss B is one of them. Maybe it’s because she appreciated my good humor, or maybe it’s because I mean what I say and say what I mean. Regardless, the shoot went extremely well yielding 13 sexy pics in exactly 15 minutes and 40 seconds. Here’s two.
